Spacious storage for canoe camping and expeditions
The 60L Canoe Storage Barrel offers generous space for carrying camping equipment, packed food, spare clothing and shared group kit on longer journeys.
Its larger capacity makes it particularly useful for multi-day canoe trips, expeditions, family camping and group use. The rigid body keeps its shape while being packed and provides structured storage for equipment that could become crushed or difficult to organise inside a soft, unsupported bag.
The wide, removable black lid makes it easier to load larger items and reach the contents at camp. A metal clamp ring holds the lid securely in position, while two folding side handles assist when moving the barrel between your vehicle, canoe and campsite.
What is a 60L canoe barrel best for?
Choose the 60L barrel when carrying capacity is more important than having the smallest possible container. It is well suited to:
- multi-day canoe camping and expeditions;
- shared equipment for couples, families or groups;
- packed food and camp kitchen supplies;
- spare clothing, footwear and camping equipment;
- clubs, activity providers and organised trips.
Remember that a fully loaded 60L barrel can become heavy. Distribute the contents carefully and use an appropriate carrying system when portaging.
Can I turn it into a barrel pack?
